Join artists and poets Librecht Baker, Bridgette Bianca, and Shameka Cunningham for a discussion on the dynamics of poetry, performance art and the importance of black visibility in the arts.
Librecht Baker is the author of vetiver (Finishing Line Press, 2017), writer in The Vagrancy’s Playwrights’ Group, a Sundress Publications' Assistant Editor, and an English Professor. Baker has an MFA from Goddard College.
Bridgette Bianca is a poet and professor from South Central Los Angeles. She has performed her poetry all around Southern California, including features at the World Stage, the SoCal Poetry Fest, LA Lit Crawl, LitFest Pasadena, the Table Lit, the un::fade::able Reading Series and much more.
Shameka Cunningham is a writer, poet and performance artist. She is from Los Angeles. She has performed around the country and abroad. She is a Watering Hole Poetry Fellow and is obsessed with poetry, ice cream and road trips.
