MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!! The RELEASE SERIES is Hollywood’s newest reading series which celebrates and focuses on the Book Release of one artist while celebrating the entire writing community in L.A.

It combines the mentorship skills of The Table Reading Series and the fire of Dirty Laundry Lit.

LA Weekly has said Dirty Laundry Lit is "more like a raucous, all-inclusive party, than a reading series" and this will be the heartbeat of the RELEASE SERIES. Held at The Virgil in Hollywood, its vision is to welcome a club full of folks on a Saturday night for books.

The RELEASE SERIES will bring both mentorship and support, beginning by welcoming one of most successful mentee-producing teams from The Table: Bridgette Bianca and Sanura Williams.

Curated by Natashia Deón, this OMG! slate of readers have 5 minutes to read, and include one newcomer writer and one veteran writer working toward publication.

The hotness that is DJ Shai will be spinning on stage and the passion that is Randa Jarrar and Bridgette Bianca are our hosts with the most!

Books will be sold and signed, and merchandise will be highlighted by My Lit Box (created by Sanura Williams), while author and volunteer support will be streamlined by producer, Darlene Kriesel.

Our first featured writer is poet SARA BORJAS for her new book release of HEART LIKE A WINDOW, MOUTH LIKE A CLIFF.
