In the midst of a socio-political movement, this course is a call to action for those wondering about the role of the poet when the world is on fire and times don’t feel poetic at all. Like a flame, however, our work has the potential to cleanse, destroy, birth, warm, and light the world around us. So, poet, where is your fire?
